This Eastertide season, we've been considering how we might "Practice the Resurrection" by taking a deep dive into Romans 8, drawing inspiration from N.T. Wright's book "Into the Heart of Romans." Join us at 10 or 11:30 a.m. this Sunday as N.T. Wright himself concludes our series with a sermon entitled "Perilous World, Powerful Love."
Jesus Reconsidered
Christianity somewhat conveniently offers an unbelievable narrative that, if true, literally changes everything. Which raises the question: Is it possible that Christianity is simply wishful thinking — a framework generated by humans who were (and still are) looking to place their hope in a future that’s better than their reality? Summer Soiree
College students and recent college graduates (those who've graduated within the past three years) are invited to an evening of light snacks, drinks, and mingling on Thursday, June 5 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the home of Chandler Anthony. Register by Monday, June 2 at centralchurchnyc.org/summersoiree.
Summer Socials
Summer Socials are events throughout the summer that provide opportunities to build community within our congregation, welcome those who are new to the city and/or to church, and engage our city outside the walls of Central.
Vacation Bible School
