In addition to Community Groups, Bible Studies are one of the pillars of church community at Central. As we dive into the Word of God together, we not only grow in our knowledge of God, his character, and his love for us, but we grow in fellowship with one another, sharing life together and supporting one another through prayer and encouragement.
This Summer — A Study in Philippians: Discipleship Explored
It’s easy to list what Christians do — but that doesn’t show what following Jesus is really like. Discipleship Explored helps followers of Jesus turn up the gospel soundtrack to their lives. The series is based on the book of Philippians and is full of human stories from every continent about the reality of being a Christian in today’s world. The key phrase of Philippians is "in Christ," so the aim of our study this summer is to "thrill followers of Jesus with the confidence, unity, righteousness and love which are theirs in Christ."
Our summer Bible Studies will begin the week of June 15. Women can attend a Women's Bible Study on Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m., Thursday mornings at 10 a.m., or Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. (combined women's and men's group); men can attend a Men's Bible Study on Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. or Thursdays at 7 p.m. (combined men's and women's group).
